Lady Parts Justice/Abortion Access Front

It’s impossible to be free if one’s personal medical decisions are made by the government, and defending women’s bodily autonomy is a politically fraught matter. People who are willing to step out boldly, unashamed and unwilling to be intimidated, are rare because the cost for doing so is incalculable. Lizz Winstead is such a leader, and her work to preserve and expand reproductive health services that include abortion inspires us. Lizz and thousands of volunteers support the health care providers who are under constant threat of being shut down by restrictive laws. The organization recently changed its name (check out their website for the history of Abortion Access Front, formerly Lady Parts Justice) to be crystal clear that they are a force for abortion access.
