Higher Heights (Leadership Fund)

Let’s be frank: It’s going to take bold leadership for women and people of color to achieve parity in political office and appointments. Higher Heights Leadership Fund invests in the cultivation of the Black woman as a participant in civic events. They say a Black woman doesn’t go into a voting booth alone – she brings her family, her neighborhood, her place of worship, and her sorority along with her. HHLF energizes Black women to organize, run for office, vote, and lead.

Through convenings, webinars, training, and online activism, Higher Heights Leadership Fund enlists tens of thousands of Black women to change the face of political action. They’re building a passionate national network of Black women and their allies in order to maximize the possibilities for Black women to lead on the local, state, and national levels.
