We Are The Radical Monarchs

The Oakland-based Radical Monarchs started out as the Radical Brownies until the Girl Scouts put a stop to that. This doc shows how the founders pushed ahead to create an alternative for girls of color ages 8-13. They believe these girls need dedicated spaces where they can create their own kind of sisterhood, earning badges for social justice achievements and skills.
