Strawberry Summer
When we met this female filmmaking team at a Sundance film financing event, we were not known for investing in the (hugely popular at the box office) horror genre. But the script centered the scary-ness of girls becoming women, the unspeakable horror of the blood that’s involved, and we squeezed our eyes tight and took a chance. The film is still in production.
