If Hollywood seems like a private club (mostly for white men), there’s a reason for that. The Los Angeles Mayor’s Office recognizes how hard it is to break into the club if you’re not already a member, so they’re ramping up ways to help their younger citizens get those all-important internships and entry level jobs in one of the city’s biggest industries.
