Because we can’t imagine being unable to say goodbye to those we love.
Loss and grief are devastating under any circumstances, and we offer our hearts to those who are suffering. We were so sad when Kristina Libby, Christina Wallace, Anjali Kumar and Sara Rodell told us that COVID-19 patients were dying without a chance to say goodbye to their people. We knew “no visitors” but we never imagined that patients wouldn’t have access to a screen, a tablet, a phone, any device to make that final call and see each other one last time. The women had rounded up thousands of screens to donate to hospitals (over 50 had expressed this crucial need a week ago) and they needed money for shipping.
