Protect our Defenders

In 2011, long before #MeToo, the epidemic of sexual assault in the military was exposed in the documentary The Invisible War. Protect Our Defenders was created to address the crisis and remains the only organization dedicated to combating the misogynist culture that continues to punish victims and ignore perpetrators. Founder Nancy Parrish spearheads a fierce fighting organization, securing policy changes, exposing rape culture in all branches of service, protecting the rights of survivors and demanding Congressional action.
