Moms-in-Film

Can we finally tell the truth about how hard it is to be a working parent? We’re seeing how lack of affordable or available childcare has shut some (mostly women) out of entire fields of employment.  Moms-In-Film calls attention to the unique needs of parents in the film industry. They work odd hours in odd places like movie sets and film festivals. Moms-In-Film provides licensed childcare on site for parents who might otherwise have to pass up professional opportunities. We’re pleased to support their leadership in bringing the issue to the forefront, as well as the very real and practical gift to filmmakers. The freedom to work without worrying about childcare is so important. MIF has made us more aware of the lack of parental support in general, which disproportionately harms women’s professional progress, economic independence, and prosperity.
