It’s a fact – women are underrepresented in the media. The Women’s Media Center works to make women visible and powerful by promoting women as global, national, and local sources for and subjects of the media, and making sure women media professionals have equal opportunities for employment and advancement.
The HF funded the equipping of WMC’s in-house broadcast facility, called “Studio H,” used for media training for women, as well as a satellite studio for interviews and commentary.
