The HF supports the notion that coaching conversations support people in living their lives to the fullest and best, and The Coach Approach provides specialized thinking partners for people working in the nonprofit field. Philanthropic contributions underwrite modest stipends for professional coaches, who forego their usual fees in order to serve clients whose important work is often low-paying and unheralded.
Founder and Executive Director Marsha Crownover took seed money from The Harnisch Foundation and created a self-sustaining, ongoing service that is rewarding to coaches, their clients, and the untold numbers of people who benefit as a result.
