Chicken & Egg's Diversity Initiative

For us, investing in films is not just about the stories. It’s also about who gets to tell the stories. We prefer to fund storytellers who reflect the rich and diverse experiences of the world in which we live, moving beyond the straight-white-male perspective that dominates the film industry. We were the first to support the Chicken & Egg Pictures Diversity Fellows Initiative – and we still do. The program supports various non-fiction projects helmed by first or second-time women directors, and the participants (chosen from over hundreds of applicants!) will receive six months of mentorship, workshops & programming over the next year. Click here to meet the second class of Fellows– the rising stars in documentary filmmaking!
