The Orchard Park Library serves southern Erie County (western New York) as a center for reference and homework help with its large non-fiction collection. It has an extensive fiction and audio book collection. Services for the handicapped include described videos (DVS) for the sight impaired, large print books and an enlarger for other documents. Awarded a yearly grant from 2001-2005, the library purchased a special collection of high demand titles only available to borrowers from OPL, an expanded Foreign Language Tape/CD section, CD audio books for children, and large print books for the sight impaired. The OPL was host to the Oprah Set Chairs as part of the international road tour, in 2005.
