More Than Money
Do you put your money where your values are? Every dollar you spend, give, invest, or earn is a “vote” for values. More Than Money was founded to help people think about the relationship between their economic activity and their values. More Than Money’s discussion groups, coaching, workshops, and conferences, and More Than Money Magazine (published quarterly from 1993 – 2006) attracted progressive wealthholders.

Ruth Ann Harnisch served as the Chair of the Board. Her million-dollar gift in 2001 was her largest to date and the largest in the history of the organization. In the years following her departure from the board, the decision was made to move MTM’s programs to Naropa University and the magazine archives to The Project on Civic Reflection.
