Do you know what an Eagle Scout is? Sure you do. Have you ever heard of the Gold Award? Thought not. It’s the Girl Scouts’ highest level of achievement, and thousands of girls age 14 -18 have earned it. The HF was the founding Lead Sponsor for the Gold Award Luncheon from the inception of the event in 1998 through 2004. The luncheon has become such a successful event that other funders have stepped in to become Lead Sponsors (at a much higher level of giving!).
