We first learned of CompassPoint’s comprehensive services and expertise when we sought advice in working with one of our major grantees at a time of transition.
Now we are one of several major partners in CompassPoint’s groundbreaking study (along with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, David & Lucile Packard Foundation and the James Irvine Foundation) of Coaching in Nonprofits. This combines several of the HF’s interests. We underwrite significant additions to the body of coaching-related research. We have been pioneers in funding coaching for nonprofit leaders (including our own Linda Ballew when she was an executive of a grantee nonprofit).
We help others provide such coaching (The Gift of Coaching, Coach Approach, The Coach Initiative).
