Coaching Commons
http://www.coachingcommons.org/
From January 15, 2008 until January 15, 2011, the Coaching Commons was an online news source for executive, business and life coaches. The publication included breaking news, original reporting, and provocative reader commentary.
The Commons relied on a network of professional coaches, journalists and readers to cover and discuss what was happening in the coaching industry worldwide.
In addition, it included stories about the history of coaching and past coaching research. The Coaching Commons was updated daily.
The original Coaching Commons vision was to offer a non-partisan ‘big tent' under which coaches could freely create the future together in a non-commercial, independent setting online - a resource that would provide future-oriented information and trends, and advanced dialog with a future focus.
Later, the Commons naturally evolved to a daily professional coaching news source, covering the breaking news of coaching, original reporting, and offering front and center reader commentary and opinions on the news, reviews and hot topics of the week.
This virtual think-tank of coaching contains a wealth of information, where all coaches can read about the creation and progression of this emerging field.
The Coaching Commons is now archived at the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate.
