We encourage collaboration among our grantees to maximize their effectiveness and impact, and we were delighted that this grantee partnered with the Center for Sustainable Journalism to present a conference entitled "Media Law in the Digital Age: The Rules Have Changed, Have You?" at Kennesaw State University. The full-day conference involved 30+ speakers and comprised 11 panel sessions, which covered a broad range of legal topics, including: newsgathering law, libel and privacy, access to government information, copyright, business law, advertising law, and a workshop on website terms of use, freelancer agreements, and licenses.
